Guiding Principles
For Clearwater Land Exchange Transactions

  1. Environmental benefits, such as fish, wildlife and endangered species habitat protection are our highest priority when we undertake a project. We will not seek to finalize any land exchange that would result in net losses to these resources.
  2. Public benefits, such as public access to outdoor recreational areas are priority #2 in our transactions. Public benefits are secondary to environmental benefits.
  3. Administrative benefits represent our third priority for land exchange transactions. Administrative benefits will not be sought at the expense of environmental and public benefits.
